Lord of Light

(unfinished)

During the Iranian Revolution in 1979, some of the American diplomats were captured in Iran, Tehran. CIA's rescue team pretended to be location scouting in Iran for a Hollywood blockbuster film based on a film script adaptation of a sci-fi novel "The Lord of Light (1967)" by Roger Zelazny. The story of that rescue operation was later remade in the multiple Oscar award winning film "Argo (2012)".

Since the film was never meant to be shoot as it was just a cover for the team, I continued where they left off by location scouting for the sci-fi universe of the original script. My main focus was to discover how the futuristic and traditional backdrop of Tehran has developed since the early 80's and what are the prospects of further producing the story of the film.
